INCEPTION kicks off in Oeiras, Portugal

Five partners. Five CoVEs. One shared ambition: strengthening vocational excellence in Europe.

On 21 and 22 April, the INCEPTION EU Project consortium met in Oeiras, Portugal, for the project's Kick-off Meeting, marking the start of a new collaboration focused on stronger cooperation between Centres of Vocational Excellence.

INCEPTION EU Project brings together:

• European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF)
• Belgisch Instituut voor Lastechniek | Belgian Welding Institute
• Fraunhofer FIT
• Hanse-Parlament
• Sveučilište Algebra Bernays

A key moment of the meeting was the presentation of the five CoVEs at the heart of the project: AILEEN, AI4VET4AI, 3LoE, WIN4SMEs, and Platform of Vocational Excellence Water, opening the discussion on their strengths, complementarities, and the opportunities ahead.

Over two days, the consortium aligned on the work ahead and laid the foundations for a shared journey built on cooperation, synergies and wider impact for VET excellence.
